Step 1: Fabric Milling – Jacquard Jersey in the Making
We’re currently milling the fabric — a process that turns Organic fiber thread into the beautiful jacquard jersey we use in your garment. This special fabric has a little bit of stretch, nice softness, and subtle texture. Because this style is garment-dyed, we’ll cut and sew every piece before it’s dyed.

🧵 About the Mill
Our jacquard jersey is being made at J. Areal Malhas, a knitwear mill located in Santo Tirso, Portugal — just 20 kilometers (about a 25-minute drive) from our final production facility, SM Senra, in Maia.
Once the fabric is finished, it’ll make the short trip down the road to be cut, sewn, and garment-dyed. I haven’t had the chance to visit Jareal Malhas yet — though it’s on my list for my next trip to Portugal. I did ask for images to share more of their process with you, but they kindly declined
